Happy Belated Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year was on the 14th so this is quite late but here's to a happy year of the tiger! The font is based on the London 2012 Olympics logo, which has grown on me, reminds me of 80's rave roller discos! Remembered it from watchin and lovin the winter olympics, my faves being snowboard/ski cross and the skeleton bob, go Amy Williams!

Splice Mail Art

Here's my submission for the splice mail art project, a great project to keep artist Ruben Cooke busy while he undergoes treatment for relapsed Hodgkins Lymphoma. Spread the word and send something in to cheer him up.

Colour Fabric Drawings

Recently re-discovered one of my old fave artists Christo & Jeanne Claude. They've been committed to their wrap projects for over 40 years. In art I always struggle with keeping to your own style and formula and being able to break out of that in a new direction. Does it show a lack of focus, certainty or an ingenuity? To tackle this I'm going to start doing more work in series. To focus my unfocusedness.

Unexpected Drawing

I love finding unexpected drawings on the back of drawings. Here's the back of my map drawing for the Nobrow competition. It looks like braille or morse code, a language of its own I wonder what it says?
