Tennis & Good Reading
Been trying to keep in touch with the Aus Open Tennis in Melbourne, it's fun being aware of a hugely different timezone, I've figured out they're 1 hour behind our time but in front! So if it's 11.47am here it's 10.47pm there!
Bring on the quarter final between Muzza & Rafa!

Also just found a cool site for keeping track of your books and reading reviews and getting recomendations at goodreads.

New website now alive!
My new website is now alive and kicking, thought I'd keep it minimal, with a heaped tablespoon of simplicity and a splash of quirkiness for now, with lots more to come, so stay tuned :)

NY Map + Black Holes
NY Map that was left in a house I lived in which I kept for ages and have just recently done something with. I like recording them in different stages and taking each stage as a different artwork but being part of the history of another.
Altering maps can have many meanings, part of this one was quietening it down a bit, so much information was being presented it didn't make sense, turing the info boxes black brought some clarity and created openings behind and through the map maybe into another dimension like a black hole... I feel the need for warp speed, engage!

Blast from the Past: Map Circle
Here's a blast from the past: 'Map Circle' which was exhibited and sold in the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2007. I haven't got my own photo of it so have had to scan in the photo from the catalogue. I'm really into my map drawing series again, I love it when you think something's over and yet it keeps coming back to you, you can't get away from it and it can't get away from you!
