Heart of Darkness in San Francisco

My Heart of Darkness Poster has been having a fun time in San Francisco recently it's in the mini 'Recovering the Classics' exhibition at the public library (right on the curve) which is on all summer...

it popped up at a pop-up gallery exhibition with music by Daniel Park for Codex Hackathon...

 and made an appearance at the ALA Conference & Exhibition event.

Wish I was there with it, SF is on my top list of places to visit!

Friday Illustration: Wimbledon Pattern

Quick pattern for Wimbledon this week, with all my favourite things from line calls to love, pimms to fist pumps and strawberries. I've been enjoying watching Nadal, the Williams sisters, Heather Watson, Wozniacki, Kvitova, Federer, Murray and trying to keep up with all the scores. Roll on the second week...

Friday Illustration: Go Set A Watchman

To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favourite books & I've done a drawing & a linocut related to it (see here & here) so now the lost 'sequel' is coming out soon I'm getting rather excited. So I had to create an image for the only quote released from the new book so far, for Penguin Random House's competition to celebrate the launch of 'Go Set a Watchman'. Roll on July 14th.

Friday Illustration: Jug of Forget-Me-Nots

I found this handmade jug in my local charity shop which was made at the local pottery near my Mum & Dad's house on the Isle of Skye. The world is so small at times with crazy random connections of small things that are wonderous. {The jug's design features the beautiful Isle of Skye tartan & I filled it with some wild forget-me-nots I found on my walk back from work}
