Year of Printmaking: April Rabbits

Spring is slowly starting to spring & for my April Calendar Print this month I've done a linoprint of some jumping rabbits with cotton-ball tails, running through the spring grass.

See my January, February & March prints, I have now finished a quarter of my calendar which I will collate into a complete 2017 calendar available in my etsy shop around October!

Year of Printmaking: Greenhouse

I love large greenhouses; the exotic plants, the heat, the discoveries of unusual forms & smells, the contradictions of inside & outside, real & fake, the window frames, the glass separating you from the outside world. . . I'm currently working on some drawings/paintings of them at the minute so thought it would work as my print this week; I did a quick linocut & placed it over an old paint sketch of some plants. Think I'll do some more mixed-media experimenting in the future.
